Ein Klangstück, das auf partizipative Weise mit anonymen Spenden von Audios produziert wurde, die Momente von Protesten im öffentlichen Raum verschiedener lateinamerikanischer Städte aufzeichnen. Diese vom Traumbüro als Audioguide konzipierte Museumsressource besteht aus Material, das sich mit der Klangdimension der Revolten und Proteste befasst und zum Ausstellungsrundgang eine transnationale Landschaft von “Aufständen der Stimme” zusammenstellt, die seit Herbst 2019 als Welle der sozialen Empörung den lateinamerikanischen Kontinent bereist und das Versagen des Staatssystems aufzeigt, dessen Wohlfahrt die Bürgerschaft nicht repräsentiert.

Manuela García Aldana (Bogotá, Colombia, 1990)
Kolumbianische Klangkünstlerin mit Wohnsitz in Berlin. In ihrer prozessbasierten Arbeit (Soundscapes, Klangskulpturen, kollektive Hörpraktiken und Radiosendungen) steht das Zuhören am Anfang und entsteht als kontextuelle Antwort auf die Suche nach Begegnungsräumen. Sie befasst sich mit Fragen der Diaspora und der Identität mit dem Wunsch, andere Wege zu verlernen und sich an andere Arten zu erinnern, unsere kollektive Lebenserfahrung zu leben.
Sie hat einen Abschluss in Bildender Kunst von der Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá und studiert derzeit im Masterstudiengang Raumstrategien an der Kunsthochschule Weissensee in Berlin.
Seine neuesten Werke und Kompositionen wurden im Kunsthaus Dahlem / Brücke-Museum (Transition Exhibition), nGbK neue Gesellschaft für bildende Kunst e.V. (Museum of Democracy), Errant Sound (The Listening Biennial), Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid (Pilar Millán, Symmetry of Encounters) Savvy Contemporary (Invocations For The Phoenix To Find Its Form In Us On Restitution, Rehabilitation and Reparation) ausgestellt.
Seit kurzem ist sie bei SAVVY Contemporary als kuratorische Assistentin tätig und beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema Klang.
Sie hat eine monatliche Sendung auf Radio Alhara (Palästina).
